Bobstalgia was a local gaming streamer on the streaming service Twitch that wanted to freshen up their branding for different purposes across their streaming platform page. This request included an offline screen to display on their page when they were not streaming, a simple three color header banner graphic for the top of their web page, and a logo redesign.
The client wanted to work with a lightning bolt symbol and add energy to their online Twitch branding. I initially worked around the concept of a heartbeat-like striking bolt, which could give the feeling of blood-pumping adrenaline. This eventually was refined to a design that keeps the energy but has a friendlier look instead of the standard sharp-edged gaming branding.
